Ten Rules Of The Game Of Life

1. If, when no matter what you do, a person finds something wrong with you. Know this, that person has decided to think you’re wrong no matter what you do. Walk away until that person is able to see the good you do.

2. Then you try to reason with someone who refuses to be reasonable, the only unreasonable thing you are guilty of is continuing to try and be reasonable. Give that person a hug, shake his hand, and walk away with a sigh of relief.

3. When there is someone who has said cruel things about you, don’t try to correct every one of those slights, just continue on; for the longer we live, the more we realize life is a journey of courage.

4. When you have grown weary of religion, consider not abandoning it completely. Remember the stories that are worth sharing, like: The parable of the Good Samaritan; and Jesus saying to the Pharisees, let those without sin cast the first stone; and Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

5. When you have never won first place, or second place, not even third place, keep up your pace, for your full pace is a winning place.

6. I’ve had some great victories in life, but I’ve had far, far more defeats. The defeats always came before the victories. The key is to laugh, and let go of the defeats.

7. First love is exhilarating. Deep love comes after having shared life together.

8. After the stage lights go out, and the actors and audience leave, they all go to their homes, condos, and apartments, and do the very same thing. They eat a snack, sit on their sofas, put their feet up on the foot rest, turn on the tv, and fall asleep. Moral: in fame or infamy, we’re pretty much all the same, most all the time.

9. Technology never ceases to improve. This is especially the case with information technology. Soon you will be able to solve problems which would have taken your iPhone, iPad, Apple Computer ten thousand years to solve. With new technologies it will take ten seconds to solve.

10. Human evolution is speeding up. Gene editing is profound: it’s starting to change our species. What will we become? Anything you want to become.
