I Have A Nice Surprise For You

The 21st century has started out rocky. Islamic fundamentalists flying into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001; economic collapse of 2008 caused by faulty sub prime loans; and COVID 19 pandemic of 2020-21.

We’ve weathered these three partially. We have controlled terrorist attacks; since 2009, we witnessed the greatest bull market in history; and miraculously through the advent of synthetic drugs, we know how to fight the coronavirus spread.

Now you’re thinking, what can possibly outdo those three?

Well, let me tell you: CHINA BECOMING THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL NATION.

They’re building new roads, railroad tracks, airports, seaports, military runways all over the world. Their goal: to become the strongest trading and military power in the world by 2049. That’s eighteen years from now. You’ll be here when that happens – damn, I’ll even be here . . . maybe.

Now, here’s some good news. America will be supplying India with COVID vaccinations. Second largest nation in the world. Suffering the most from COVID. That’s America at her best.

America will be partnering with Japan and Australia to build global infrastructure differently than China. Standards of quality and transparency will be spelled out. This will inspire investment banks (73 trillion in investment capital), corporations ( will be able to trust contract integrity), and “civil society” ( motivated to participate actively in wealth creation.)

By 2049, whom do you think will be the most powerful nation in the world economically? Of course, America, if we don’t fall on our own swords and self destruct. I think we’ll get it right. I agree with Winston Churchill, who is quoted as saying: America will always do the right thing after they do everything else.

To be great, you need a worthy opponent. China will give us a ride for our money. China’s weakness is it will lead from the top down. America will get all the stakeholders involved and accountable. That will be the great experiment for the rest of the twenty-first century.
